How to patch a standalone ESX 4.1 host

Can someone tell me how to patch a standalone ESX 4.1 host without using Update Manager?  I've created the vSphere Management Assistant VA and have downloaded ESX host patches to my desktop.  I'm looking for the process or commands needed to install the patch updates to the host once I place the downloaded zip file in a directory on the host.

Thanks!

Hi,
You can use vihostupdate or esxupdate in order to update/upgrade your host.

Pcerda,

Thanks for your response. I was unable to translate into English, however.
