We have imported vApp for Operations Manager. There are 2 VMs in that vApp.
We just wonder how to migrate the vApp to another ESX Host ? We find that we can migrate individual VM but not the vApp. Is my understanding correct ?
Moreover, when the ESX Host goes to maintenance mode, the vApp (or that two VMs) does migrate to another ESX host.
Your advice is sought.
Thanks
A vApp is a logical container for one or multiple VMs. You cannot move the full vApp container from A to B at this point, and I am not sure why you would want to do this? vSphere DRS should take care of resource load balancing, you don't need to worry about that at all.

I just wonder if I accidently migrate a particular VM in the vApp from A to B, will I break the vApp ?
Thanks for your advice.
