How to install ESXi on xServe 3.1?

I have been running on ESXi 5 for several weeks now on my R900 Dell Server and have on many attempts tried to create a OSX environment with no success.

I recently decommissioned one of my old xServes and thought I could finally create a Mac virtualized environment.

I have scoured the web for anyone that has successfully installed ESXi 5 on and xServe. Many have touted this feat, but I haven't seen any conclusive proof.

With all the great knowedge of VMware users here I'm hoping someone could produce some instructions.

Thanks in advance!

Informative, but not exactly what I am looking for.

I need instructions on how one would install ESXi on an xServe 3.1. I thought I would use the thumb drive from my R900 server, but it wouldn't even recognize the drive. CD is the next option, but I have my doubts about that.

Has anyone done it?
