SFCB, the default CIMOM is ESXi 5 takes around 5 seconds to enumerate over any class (under any namespace, i.e. root/interop or root/cimv2)! How can we reduce this time?
Time was measured using the cim-diagnostic.sh file under /bin in ESXi 5. It loops over all the classes under the two namespaces and enumerates over each instance. Each enumneration call takes about 5-6 seconds. Can this be improved?
