I am not able to get SMART attributes from the physical disks under VMware ESXi 5.5.0 running on Dell PowerEdge R510 with PERC H700 Integrated raid controller and bunch of SAS disks in several raid arrays. I have searched through vmware as well as Dell/LSI sites but could not find anything useful.
smartinfo.sh script sees only logical disks with (obviously) no SMART information:
