How to fetch the data from ESXi server

Hi All,

I am developing a vCops adapter that requires to fetch data from already existing resource (Esxi server) in vCops custom. I want to fetch various information from this resource like its event, metrics, and child resource details. Is there any method or API that would fetch data from already existing resource.

For instance, please find the screenshot of the resource (Esxi server) and its metrics value that i want to fetch.

Environment Overview

Is the ESXi Host you are trying to fetch data for added to the vCenter for which vCOPS is licensed?

Also, you would need to double click on the metric for it to generate graphs.
