How to enable net-snmp on Vmware Vsphare 5 ?

Hi

Can anyone please point me to kb or a video to enable and configure net-snmp on server ?

SNMP is not a reasonable supported method for monitoring vSphere.  Use the APIs instead.

Thanks we are already monitoring through API's however i am not getting CPU / Interfaces / which i was able to access before in version 4 via snmp .

Is that you used Net-SNMP with 4.1....

refer the below KB for enabling SNMP traps

For Net-SNMP, i am not sure if that is supported for vSphere 5.0. Its better contact the 3rd party which uses Net-SNMP for monitoring.. they should have something to help you..
