How to delay ESXi startup

Does anyone know how to delay (pause) the startup of ESXi for say 120 seconds?

The issue we have when we fire up our IBM BladeCenter S chassis is the storage isn't initialized by the time ESXi loads and consequently ESXi cannot see all our datastores.  IBM says there's no way to delay the hardware (the blades) so we need to delay the software until the storage hardware is ready.

Thanks,

Jeff

I did this with ESXi 3.5 but it should be fine with 4.x - http://www.vm-help.com/esx/esx3i/boot_delay.php.

Choose the host and go to Configuration Tab, "Virtual Machin Startup/Shutdown", then properties, then up or down the VM and u set it in any order and then in edit mode, set it your delay time.

IF it is useful, please mark it as "Helpful" or "Correct".
