How to copy the VMDK from data stores.

I want to copy the VMDK but it was giving an error “unable to copy the file”

VM is currently running and it is having snapshot init.

You can only copy files which are not in R/W use, i.e. you should be able to copy the VM's vmdk file(s) except for the current snapshot which is opened in R/W mode.

If you provide some more information (e.g. the output of ls -lisa from the VM's folder, the files you want to copy/clone, ...), I might be able to help.

Please shut down the VM ,you may download the VMDK files .
