Hello community,
I've following problem:
I'm hosting an vCenter Server, which have already two esxi servers connected to.
Now I've one more ESXi Server which is based outside of the house. I can reach the ESXi from the Internet and I also can connect directly to the ESXi with the vSphere Client, but I can't add the ESXi to my vcenter server. The ESXi disconnects all the time after some secounds.
My Firewall Rules are right.
vCenter allows 22, 902, 443 inbound rules. And ESXi too (both Sides)
What I'm doing wrong?
Hi,
Could be a few causes, take a look at
Many tx
My vCenter Server is Behind a NAT. So i Need Port Forwarding?
Example:
vCenter Data:
public ip: 200.200.200.120
vcenter lokal: 192.168.1.1
ESXi Data:
only public ip: 200.200.200.100
Port-Forwarding:
200.200.200.120:9800 --> 192.168.1.1:902
200.200.200.120:9801 --> 192.168.1.1:443
200.200.200.120.9802 --> 192.168.1.1:22
Is this the only way????
I don't want to do PF because of security reason.
Tank you in advance
