How to clear esxi network statistics - ESXi 5.5

Hi All,

I'm working on an emulated networking lab enviroment running on ESXi 5.5.

I'm aware of there exist esxcli commands to get statistics about physical (pNIC) and virtual NIC (vNIC); se for example Network Troubleshooting Using ESXCLI 5.1 - VMware vSphere Blog - VMware Blogs

To help troubleshooting I would like to clear statistics for them and then rerun VM's workloads. Does it exist a way to do that without power cycle the VMs?

Thanks

I'm not aware of a command off the top of my head, but this older forum post might be of interest: Re: Clear nic statistics

Basically it is a powerCLI command to start collecting stats. Hopefully it should get you the results you are looking for.
