How to backup and reinstall ESXi 4.1 host?

I'm reinstalling one of hosts (Essentails Plus) on completely new hardware.

The question is, how can I backup and restore configuration of ESXi host including VLAN settings and so on.

You could give the vicfg-cfgbackup command a try.
