How to add Software iSCSI Adaptor in vSphere ESXi 5.0?

Welcome to the Community - I have note seen vSphere Documentation yet but I would assume it will be similar to vSphere 4 in that it is already a part of the ESXi host and just needs to be enabled and configured -

Hi,

In earlier version of VMware ESXi Software iSCSI adaptor was listed in the list of storage adapter but this is not in case of VMware ESXi 5.0. In ESXi 5.0 iSCSI adaptors are not listed by default and need to be enabled first before going for further configuration.

Hello!

In vSphere 5 is relatively easy to enable iSCSI HBA driver, you must be on the ESXi host, then you go to Storage adapters. And where are the cards you must click your right mouse button. After that press the button: Add iSCSI Software Adapter.

It should be clear that you must configure an iSCSI adapter have initially configured the VMkernel.
