You can't simply lookup the server you purchased and look at the bill of materials?  Most server vendors have a way of doing inventory such as Dell with the DRAC or HP with iLO, they can give you a server status and tell you every component in that machine.

The easiest way is to open the machine, and look.  That may be installed on a 4GB Flash, but usually flash is 1 or 2GB... but maybe you have the latest and it's 4Gb, but not sure if you can get this info from ESX.

ESX is designe for VM's getting information about the OS itself is challenging.. but then again, there isn't a need for this info.

If you know ESXi is only 250MB, and you can only use it for that purpose, what is this information to be used for?  Are you planning to hijack that flash for something else?

They are really cheap... just go buy one!

Thank you Anupreet. I am unsure when you say it is blocked, but we could discuss that through PM.
