How many iscsi initiators can a ESXi host have ?

Hi guys,

Could somebody give me the answers ? Thank you.

1. How many software iscsi initiators can a ESXi host have ? Can i use multiple software iscsi initiators for path failover, adapter redandunce and load-balance ? I know port-binding is a way.

2. How many hardware dependent iscsi initiators can a ESXi host have ? Can i use multiple hardware dependent iscsi initiators for path failover, adapter redandunce and load-balance ?

2. How many hardware independent iscsi initiators can a ESXi host have ? Can i use multiple hardware independent iscsi initiators for path failover, adapter redandunce and load-balance ?
