How do I subscribe to infrastructure events?

Good day.

Are there standard ways to subscribe to the event infrastructure ESX / VC?

I need to quickly find out about all the changes that occur: change the name of datastore, register a new vm, etc.

However, I do not want to re-query hierarchy of infrastructure. Instead, I want to receive events on their changes.

P.S. I'm sorry if wrong section.

Hi,

Maybe log insight can help you to quickly find the event you need. You can create a dashboard by  keywords like rename , error, etc..

Here you can find more information about vCenter Log Insight :VMware vCenter Log Insight: Log Management & Analytics

Julien.

Here is the problem - the software is paid. I also need to know about the events in the life of any ESX, any configuration.

Take a look at Alerts tab in a VC and click on definitions. You can create your own definitions, like vm power on, network downlink, any activity you require and the method of notification you desire

Yes, but in this case I have to take these alerts and analyze. By timer. And since I need the current state of the infrastructure, it turns a huge burden on the VC.
