How do I refresh Vsphere client to fit vmx file

I am using some automation that installs a VM Linux guest.

My script loads a vmx file that is configured to change the DVD iso file that is connected to the VM so when I start the vm it will boot and install from the new iso file .

The problem is that although the VMX file is OK the Vsphere client still shows the old configuration .

I f I wait a lonhg time (1 hour) the new vmx parameters will appear in the GUI .

How do I refresh the GUI to show the current VMX file information?

Regards

Raz

The easiest is to remove the VM from the favorites and re-add it.

There's a also a CLI command to refresh the configuration.
