How do I add space to a Datastore on vCenter 5.1

I am currently using vCenter 5.1 and have a Datastore that is connected to all three of my Datacenter Hosts. The space is coming from an EMC VNXe3150.

I have been trying to add space through the client using the Datastore properties but I am not getting the option to increase the space. I am also trying to add space through the Web Client however I do not have the option of "Increase Datastore Capacity" icon.

What am I missing here?

Have you increased the size of the LUN on the VNX?

This sometimes happens and for some reason vCenter doesn't think the new storage is available for use - if you use the vSphere client and directly connect to the host do you see the option to expand the datastore?
