How can i use USB DONGLE on ESXi 4.1

• do you want to install ESXi on that dongle ?
• or maybe you wanna use it as a storage device ?
• or maybe you have license dongle and you wanna map it to VM

The easiest method to provide a USB for sharing is to use a product like Digi's USBAnywhere - this way you can still take advantage of vMotion, DRS and HA

i have license dongle and i wanna map it to VM

In vm editsetting-> add usb controller come, (for me usb key worked). check the same option for dongle as well

as weinstein5 says, you will have to try with USB overIP, google it and for sure you will find something. But be careful, even if you buy USB overIP HUB not necessary has to work with you dongle.
