How can I get old version of VMware Tools for Linux?

Hi, All.

I want to install 3.5 or more old version of VMware Tools for Linux to my VM (Installed RHEL 3.5).

Now I'm using vSphere 4.0U1 of ESX. And vCenter. And created RHEL3.5 VM.

But in my case, VMware Tools provided by ESX4.0 can't install to this VM because Linux kernel version of

RHEL3.5 is kernel2.4 and VMware Tools4.0 supported only for kernel2.6 or more recent version.

How can I get old version of VMware Tools?

You will get it from 3.g build its self or copy from ant 3.5 host. But its not helping you on updating hardware 7 version

I don't have 3.g build and I could not found it on VMware web site.

Can I found 3.g build or VMware Tools 3.g anywhere?

Download ISO and extract through third party tool. You will get the TPm for all tools.
