I have started receiveing this error as well.

[VMware vCenter - Alarm Host error] Issue detected on hostname in datacentername datacenter: IDT: 1795: 0xfb received but not set up (20:21:36:44.053 cpu15:41111)

Host is running  ESXi 4.1.0 721871

There are no alarms in the alarm tab and nothing is listed under task and events

It also doesn't appear in the system log.

I received the alert in my email is how I know that it occurred.

I had 2 Hosts giving this error. I reinstalled both hosts.

On one host the error came back, the other is still fine.

Running VMware ESXi, 4.1.0, 582267.

You need to perform firmware upgrades on your hosts.

You can reinstall but it will come back until all the firmware on your hosts are current.

If you still see errors after performing upgrades, I would look at the memory in hosts.

Good luck
