Host doesn't detect/see vm after winscp copy

Platform: Esxi stand alone host.

I copied a vm using winscp.  I could see the files in my new target datastore but I doesn't show up in my inventory.

I recall a browse feature in the v3.5 version where I could browse to see the vmdk files.  Where is this feature in the vshphere esxi client?

I couldn't find it to save my life.

Thanks in advance.

Did you add the VM into the inventory?

Go into the datastore from the vspshere client, Right click the vmx file and select add to inventory.

like above, you need to right click the .vmx to register the VM.

I undestand that, but where?  In v3.5 client, I could browse the datastore and click on the vmdk file.

where is this feature in vsphere client?

Thank you all.  I found the browse datastore feature under "Configuration" tab.  Thanks again.
