Host Isolation(Nexus 7Ks)

Does anyone out there who is using UCS/Nexus 7K setup? We shut down one of the core Nexus 7K switch and HA shut down all of the VMs because of host isolation from the network, and it never failed over to second Nexus 7K we have in place.  I am wondering if someone has seen this issue where HA will shut down all the VMs despite two physical switches.  vCenter 4.1 and ESXi 4.1 version.

Thanks in advance.

Isoaltion Event occurs when the ESXi host is unable to reach its gateway so as long as your hosts management ports are connected to both Nexus 7K switches if one is brought down the traffic shoudl fail over tot he secondary path - if they are then when you shut the switch it is connected to isolation will occur.

Now what does that mean for the VMs - this will all depend on how the Isolation Response is Configured - if it set to power off the VMs the VMs should shit down and restart on the iter hosts in the cluster -
