i am having different host-freezes with the following error (see screenshot).
The VM which occurs this problem changes.
What to do to fix this?

So the best option to workarround this issue is to remove all e1000-nic for VMXnet3-nics?
You are referring to the NotePad++ issue?
Yes, you could swap out the vNics. VMXNET3 is also the preferred NIC, but you need to have the VMware Tools installed first.
What are the other options for fixing this problem?
