Hi,

I'm looking at buying an ML350 G6 to run ESXi 5 for home use with all the available features particularly FT & Direct I/O Path.

The server has this CPU in it

Intel E5520 Quad Core 2.27 Ghz - (I Take it this is a Intel Nahalem CPU????)

According to this Matrix FT is not supported

However, the VMware Site Survey advises that CPU's with chipsets 55xx are compatible.

Is the ML350 G6 just not supported by VMware Support but FT will actually work regardless?

Will this CPU support VMware Direct I/O Path?
