I'm running into an issue where my hosts are consuming a considerable amount of ram, even in maintenance mode with no virtual machines running on the host. This is the same even after a fresh reboot.
For example, from a fresh reboot with no virtual machines running on the host, it's consuming 11gb of memory. Looking in esxtop, I'm not getting a clear picture of what is consuming this quantity of memory.
Any ideas?
