High Performance Change - Guest Reboot?

Our hosts are Dell poweredge servers and we recently change the bios to high performance. Now the guest are requesting reboots when you login. Why would the guest OS detect any changes at all? Is there a way to prevent this?

Thanks!

Hi,

I changed my Power Policy when I had some virtual machine but I didn't face with issue.

It doesn't need to power cycle on virtual machines. If restart request is not repeating, there is no problem, may be, something has been changed on VM CPU specification.

Unfortunately it is prompts each time it's on a different host with a different CPU even though I have EVC set. I've searched and havent found anyone else that experienced this. I would hope EVC would block things like this unless it's some other setting changing.
