Help !!

Before powering on the VM in vSphere Client, i could see the symbol encircled in red . .Can anyone provide me the reason

When you copy or move a VM from one datastore to another on a different host, It is registered with a new UUID. If you say Moved the uuid.location will change and if you say copied a new UUID will be created.

You don't have to worry. If you just upgraded the host and saw this message then choose i moved it.

This is prompt before powering on the vm, one of the case mentioned by Abhilash. In other cases it will prompt when snapshot has consumed complete day tastore space...

Many other case can happen...

Hello Abhilash, Is there any way to see whether the VM is moved or copied from some other host???.(Assuming sme one else might hv done it if thats the case)
