I've been using ESXi 3.5 for a few months and I'm trying to plan a p2v conversion along with DR.
My current config is six physical servers and one ESXi 3.5 host with two production VMs. What I'd like to do is move everything over to ESXi 4 on two or three hosts and setup disaster recovery at one of our remote sites with one ESXi 4 host. We are a non-profit so price is a big issue. is there a cheap way to replicate the production hosts with our DR site hosts? (just found out that Veeam Backup no longer supports ESXi free) We don't need HA, just a way to switch over to our DR site and a way to switch back.
