Has anyone worked with Revit (specifically 2013) on a VM?

Hello,

Has anyone worked with Revit (specifically 2013) on a VM?

I have a VM that is solely dedicated to running Revit.  However, Revit is running very slow - as compared to a hard
machine.  One common message that appears when starting up the application is:

"Hardware Acceleration is Disabled. Software emulation is in use."

Revit detects unsupported video card and driver.  You may continue to use Revit in software emulation mode.

My question is; how do I resolve this?  Do I need to place a Revit compatible video card on the Host server?
Would I need to do this for each of the VM's I have running Revit - if I was to have multiple Revit installations?

Are you running Revit from a Virtual Desktop in VMware View or as a VM directly on an ESXi host - with VMware View there is much more flexibility wth graphics acceleration - http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/techpaper/vmware-horizon-view-graphics-acceleration-deployment.pdf

I'm Running VMWare 6.2 from a virtual Desktop on my iMac 27in. Early 2011 using Windows 7. The iMac has a ATI Radeon HD 5750 graphics card that appears not to be supported by Autodesk. I'm pretty green on running VM, not sure of the difference between "VMware View or as a VM directly on an ESXi host"
