Hardware sensors on Dell PowerEdge R220

I'm just updated my ESXi 5.5 installation to 6.0 on Dell PowerEdge R220. And now I don't see some of hardware sensors.

Also I have a Veeam log:

Hey,

did you use the Dell customized ESXi image before?

Maybe they included some drivers to read those sensors. When you updated with the vanilla ESXi image these drivers might be lost.

I would try to install the DELL customized ESXi image when it comes out. Normally takes them 4-6 weeks to release it after VMware announces GA.

Probably it was. I using a dedicated server from a hosting company and when I ordered it ESXi 5.5 was preinstalled.

Could you tell, when the image from Dell will be released how can I install it? Can I use "esxcli software vib update -d /path"?

Unfortunately I didn't find any documentation on Dell Support site about it.

with the VIB UPDATE you just update an actual VIB Package.

Probally you have to use "esxcli software vib install": vSphere 6.0 Documentation Center

Do not forget to enter in maintenace mode with the System:

esxcli system maintenanceMode set -e

i also checked if you hardware is supported by vpshere 6:

actually you hardware is not supported. so it could be difficult to bring your sensors online.

in my opinion I would wait until Dell releases a custom ISO with their drivers. Its the easiest way for you

OK, I understand. And what will be with VMs if I use "VIB INSTALL"? They will not be deleted?

And before update 5.5 to 6.0 I'm also checked compatibility. Here is screenshot:

no the VMs will not be deleted. but to enter in maintenance mode you have to shut down the running vms.

Sorry for wrong information. i probally made a wrong search in the vmware HCL

btw. the Dell Image was allready released but they had some errors on it and removed it again from the download page.
