HPE Custom image 6.5 Build -16389870

My infrastructure running with HPE custom image ESXi 6.5 Build 16389870 on HPE GEN 8 DLP 380P server. HPE did not release any custom image for GEN8 server.

Please advice whether I can apply latest patch release by Vmware (ESXi650-202011002)

Hi @vigna67 ,

Yes, you can install latest ESXi patch on top of HPE custom image. OEM vendors ideally launch OEM images for major updates/releases and not for all patches.
