HPE Custom Images - Upgrade for Proliant DL180 Gen9

Greetings I join this community cause I have a question.

We are using HPE Proliant DL180 Gen9 VMWare Server (ESX). Which is the newest, highest ESX Version that I can use on this machines. Ignoring which licence is neccesary. I want to know which hardware is supported.

I think I know answer, but there are two or three pages (vmware and hp) telling different in details.

your server model (assuming it has a supported controller, etc.) is 6.5 Update 3.

Thanks for Information. 

That's same I thought. But I can tell that I tried to install the actual 7.0 U3 (January 2023) on this machine.

Succesful! This version works fine on 11 machines.
