HP management agents

Hi were installing the HP management agents for our DL380 G7and DL580 G7, we've downloaded the correct HP Agents from the HP website however after installation and we've configured the HP Insight Mangement in the vCenter with the root and its password we still don't get the additional information in the vCenter tabs:

"Hardware status" - we don't see the additional information thats supposed to be available after the agent install and the tab is showing the error "no new host data available" and while if I look into the "HP Insight Management" tab under and the "Communications" option I get the error

- SNMP agents, Providers          status "unavailable"

- iLO Server                                   status "unavailable"

is there anyway to check the software is running correctly, I've done a check using esxupdate and confirmed the components have been installed but how can I check their working correctly?

The problem is we can get it working properly on 1 DL580 G7 server however on all the other ones nothing is displaying.

Did you configure the firewall for the service? I think is port 2381 ....do the install script prompts you ..

Can you run this commands on the ESX server

From a command shell verify the components by running the following commands:

To verify hpilo driver status, type:

service hp-ilo status

To verify HP SNMP agents, type:

service hp-snmp-agents status

snmpwalk -v 1 localhost -c public enterprises | grep hp

Can you link the HP website and show us EXACTLY which agents you downloaded and installed?

Were running ESXi 5.0 and when I run the below commands from telnet ssh:

service hp-ilo status

To verify HP SNMP agents, type:

service hp-snmp-agents status

snmpwalk -v 1 localhost -c public enterprises |  grep hp

I get the message service: not found for all the commands

additionally these are the packages I downloaded:

RECOMMENDED * HP ESXi Offline Bundle for VMware ESXi 5.0
RECOMMENDED * HP ESXi Utilities Offline Bundle for VMware ESXi 5.0http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/swdHome/?sp4ts.oid=5080585&spf_p...

and installed as per instructions and worked fine.

Its just that I don't get data in the vCenter console.

Unistall HP Insight Management for vCenter and then istall again.
