HA Not Enable in my ESXi 3.5

HA not enable in cluster.

I am practicing in workstation; i have created 2 ESXi 3.5 Servers in
my workstation. Each ESX server i given 1GB RAM, 40 GB HD and 1 NIC
card. I added both in vCENTER. When i am enabling HA i am getting
error like "cannot complete the HA configuration". MY virtual server
is unlicensed and also my ESXi 3.5 servers also Unlicensed, Please
tell me how to enable HA and DRS also. I heard in ESXi 3.5 evaluation
version we can enable HA and DRS.

Welcome to the Community - running in evaluation mode you do have the licenses for DRS and HA - you might not have enough memory for the ESXi hosts - try uping the memory to 2 GB -

2GB may not be enough.  I have an ESXi 4.1 with 2GB of RAM and when I tried to enable HA, it gave an error message.

Problem is resolved for me when I pump that up to 4 GB.  Well this was for 4.1.

Hi, I am also heard about the HA and Drs in Esxi , we can do in evaluation also, but Vcenter shold be licensed version.

like esx and esxi if you install vCenter and do not apply a license it will run in evaluation mode for 60 days providing th efunctionality of the Enterperise Plus license - this is true for all VMware products -

2300 MB of RAM if you want to enable HA.I did with 2500 MB of RAM.

I Tried HA and DRS In workstation 7, enabling HA and DRS by giving more than 2.5gb of RAM for two ESxi hosts, its working properly.And I sucessed in both licenced versions of two hosts and in evalution also, We can enable HA and DRS in ESxi hosts. What erver you said thats correct .
