What is the easiest way to find out what server moved off of a host and were powered back on another host after an HA failover due to loss of a host?

Have you taken a look at /var/log/fdm.log and searched for your vm in there?

You can check the Cluster "Tasks and Events" tab and look for the "failover" word.

Im not looking for a particular server just a list of server affected by a failover if a lost the host.

Hi,

  VC task&events should certainly show the same.Go to VC>File Export>Export Events>Select the exact date&time at which issue occurred and collect the logs for System.Save it in a  txt file and analyse the same.
