Guest shows dropped packets but nic does not

I have a quad port gig nic in the host and vcenter shows zero dropped xmit / rcv packets. But in vcenter when viewing each of the guests, I am seeing some dropped receive packets. So far xmit packets in each guest is zero. How do I track this down? Each guest is using the vmxnet3 driver in Windows 2008 R2 Standard Server.

So to reword:

Host vmnic graph sees no dropped packets

Guest vmnic graph sees dropped packets

What does the operating system of the guest say?  Have you tried to track that?

The guests are all Windows 2008 R2 Server Standard. Where do I see that?
