Guest OS Version for OpenBSD (64-bit OS) has to be FreeBSD 32-bit, a warning is displayed for 64-bit

Hello,

Why is this warning displayed when actual guest is really a 64-bit OS?

"The configured guest OS (FreeBSD (64-bit)) for this virtual machine does not match the guest that is currently running (FreeBSD (32-bit)). You should specify the correct guest OS to allow for guest-specific optimizations."

How does ESXi determine if guest OS is 32 or 64 bit?

Regards,

Now I learned there is a kernel level implementation of VMware Tools in OpenBSD. It advertises to the ESXi that it is FreeBSD 32-bit OS.
