Got an issue wherein replicated LUN are not getting mapped automatically on all remaining host in cluster

Hi,

Anyone have any idea.

This is happening with Vsphere 5.5 & 6.0

Please provide some more information on what exactly you are doing, and how the replication looks like.

In case you are trying to mount replicated LUNs to hosts, which already had the original LUN mapped before, these replicated LUNs may be detected as Snapshot LUNs (both likely contain the same signature), and either have to be resignatured or mounted manually.

If this is in SRM, check the mapping of the LUN from the SAN and make sure the devices are available in the ESXi host.

but if it is not SRM .. and you are mapping a replicated LUN you should resignature it..

from the ESXi host run the below command and check if the datastore is visible as snapshot

esxcfg-volume -l
