Getting #pf exception 14 error running vmware tools install

I am currently doing a vmware tools installation for a recently p2v'ed linux machine. I get the error above running

the installation. I running on ESX 5.1i

Hi,

You running on HP hardware? a similar issue popped up on the communities and the running the below fixed it.

esxcli system settings advanced set -o /BufferCache/MinZeroCopyBufferLength -i 512
