Getting a deeper view of Virtual Machine Storage performance

Hi all,

We are running ESXi 5.0 in our environment.

On certain a LUN that contains both the Citrix WriteCache drives (each virtual desktop has one) and the VMware VSWP files, I am seeing higher workloads (mostly write) when the Citrix virtual desktops are rebooted or when the golden image is updated.

I'd like to be able to see whether it is the WriteCache drives or the VMware VSWP files that are causing the higher workload on this specific LUN.

Is there a way to achieve this within vCentre or do I need to use something else (ESXTOP ?) to determine which specific component on that LUN is the cause of the higher workload?

Thanks in advance
