Free backup solution for ESXi 4 free

Hi to all,

is there a free solution to backup vm from ESXi 4 free hosts ? Or, if there is only the possibility to use scripts, can you give me the links to them ?

Your options are limited due to the vSphere API restriction with the free license. You may want to take a look at ghettoVCB (http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-8760) and/or Trilead Explorer (http://www.trilead.com/) to see whether these fit your needs.

Thinware vBackup (www.vbackup.com). It supports image-based backup of virtual machines running on ESXi Free. There is no cost to use it while it is in public beta and once version 1 is out there will still be a free option.
