Format the disk which had install ESXi OS

HI All

I had install ESXi 5.5 in a SATA Disk, then I want to test VSAN, so I use USB Drive instead SATA HD as SYS Vol.

But when I use USB boot, and then try to delete the previous VMFS datavolume, it show a error and then I try to use partedUtil tool to delete all partitions in this Disk...2 read-only system partition could not deleted...

Which method could let me forace format disk which had install ESXi OS in ESXi SSH Console ?

thanks!!

Hi,

And because you are using the OpenFiler? To work with the VSAN in the condition you would recommend OpenFiler.

PLEASE CONSIDER AWARDING any HELPFUL or CORRECT answer. Thanks!!
