Files not visible in Datastore

We had a drive fail and a drive in predictive failure.  We replaced both drive and allowed RAID to rebuild.  When the server boots up it sees the folder structure for the datastore but no files.  I can SSH to the datastore and can see all the files.  How do I get VMWare esxi 6.5 datastore to see the files again so that my VM will boot?

The screenshot is incomplete or the vmx-file is missing.
Search for a vmx-file.
The fact that datastorebrowser displays a redcross is normal.
That experimental piece of software fails when there are too many files in a directory.

Switch to Winscp when looking at the content and ignore datastorebrowser.
By the way - who had the job of checking Veeam logs daily ? 😎

Ok.  But how do I get my VM to work again?

Show complete directory in winscp.
Unregister the invalid VM.
When the VM is complete reregister it with commandline.

Attach the latest vmware.logs in on archive.
Attach all small text-vmdks in a second archive.

Thank you.  Any of the larger files are failing to copy.  Getting an input/output error.

I de-registered the VM and used the command line to register the VM with the vmx file.  I get the attached.

Also, this is what the partition looks like currently for the datastore

Please explain what you mean by Show Complete Directory in winscp.  Are you wanting a screenshot of the directory in winscp?

Are you wanting me to "Attach the latest vmware.logs in on archive." & "Attach all small text-vmdks in a second archive." on here somehow?  I'm not following/understanding what you are telling me to do.

Exactly- use the attach button.
In WinSCP please change to the directory of the affected VM - your screen shows the root directory of the ESXi-filesystem.
The datastores are under /vmfs/volumes/datastore-name
