Hi people,
I am pretty much new to vmware, but i'm trying to take clone of a physical machine. Used Vcenter convertor standalone for the clone, which resulted in a split of 13 versions of vmdk files. This made me to use vdiskmanager to combine all the split vmdk files into one vmdk file.
Syntax used:
C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware Workstation>vmware-vdiskmanager -r 'source.vmdk' -t 0 'destination.vmdk'
Creating disk ''destination.vmdk''
FILE: CreateEntryDirectory stat failure on 'source'.lck': Invalid argument
FILE: FileIO_Lock on ''source'' failed: Invalid argument
Failed to convert disk: Unknown error (0x7b000900000001).
There are no .lck folders while executing the command. The snapshot is currently not available for me to redo the process. Could you please help me resolve this issue?
