File Copy Slow to Windows 2012 ISCI Server

Copying a 8GB file to a VM located on a HP NL40 Server ruining Windows 2012 Storage Server.

Copy starts off quick, after 3GB, the network connection drops to 0, and the remaining copy is dead slow.

I have tried Xcopy and it is going very slow.

If i copy the same file from the network to the storage server (no over iscsi) is is file and fast)

Any thoughts?

My VMware datastores are on ISCSI. Copying files to a VM is slow it bombs out after a while.

If i copy across the network to the Storage servers local disks file copes fine and fast.
