First be sure that your tape library is present on VMware HCL. You can attach it to your SAN switch and present it to the ESX hosts. After that, is possible to attach it to a VM uring RDM.

I need to know few things:

1.>What is the exact link for vmware tape HCL ?

2.>Is there any good document to do RDM for tape library?

What I understand from you is that I need to make that 25 slots tape library available from FC adapter &

then need to add that partition (25 slots tape library) in the VM through RDM, am I right ?
