False Thin Provision capacity threshold alert not allowing us to create new VM's, stroage vmotion etc.

Hello Everyone,

Due to an upgrade our storage systems VASA integration caused it to send an "Thin provision capacity threshold alert" for all the Datastores attached to certain cluster in vCenter.  Now we cannot create new VM's, storage vMotion, make changes to some VM's, etc.

We are working with the storage vendor to figure things out, however not sure how long this will take.  Clearing the Alerts in Vcenter is not fixing the problem, does anyone know how to disable this alert, reset it or change the threshold on the vCenter side of things?  We are using Appliance version 6.0 U3b

Thank you!

Was there a resolution on the storage side? I have been looking for a vCenter side resolution and have yet to find one.

Yes, editing the vCenter Database and setting the thin_prov_space_flag value back to 0 fixed the datastores.
