Hi -
I noticed today that while using vSphere, ESXi seems to see other USB drives (i.e. a 16GB thumb drive) and allows me to pass them to my VMs, however I am unable to get it to recognize a Seagate 1TB USB drive (p/n 9ZC2AG-501 if it matters). I can boot with a utility CD on the same machine and see the drive just fine. Am I stuck buying another drive? If so, any confirmed working 1TB or 2TB drives anyone can recommend? I plan to use to it back up files off one of my VMs.
