Exporting current ESXi 4 settings

Hi All,

I'm about to add 2 more hard drive into my existing ESXi server and make it as RAID-5 so I must reformat the ESXi host, does anyone know how to exports all of the existing ESXi settings into a file so that i can just load it from that file ?

After that I'm going to install ESXi on a Fast USB 2.0 1 GB drive if i need to make a bare metal server alive and running with ESXi

Cheers

Kind Regards,

AWT

in a word, yup! Smiley Happy just remember you've got to have the host in maintenance mode and the build/patch levels have to be the same. I've only had to use the force switch a couple of times

Thanks,
